Ab 1944 wurde der Flughafen stark ausgebaut, um die Kriegsanstrengungen zu unterstützen, aber nach Kriegsende wurde er zu einem zivilen Flughafen umfunktioniert. Die ursprüngliche Anlage und die Terminals wurden von Sir Frederick Gibberd entworfen und sind heute einer der verkehrsreichsten Flughäfen der Welt.

Szene wurde gedreht LAX is the fourth busiest airport in the world (2nd in the United States) that covers over 3,500 acres near the beach between Westchester & El Segundo. The airport first opened in 1930 under the name Mines Field and got its current name in 1949. Four parallel runways serve the airport the longest of which is almost 13,000 ft long. LAX has nine passenger terminals with 128 gates as well as a cargo terminal and heliport. The distinctive googie-style Theme Building in the center of the terminal complex was designed in 1961 by architect Paul Williams. The arched structure contains a panoramic retro-futuristic restaurant with views of the airport.

Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (Exposition Park)

Szene wurde gedreht The Coliseum was constructed in 1923 as a memorial to the veterans of WWI for just under $1-million with a capacity of over 75,000 people. In 1930 the stadium was expanded upwards to add an additional 25,000 seats for the 1932 Olympics. The stadium is home to the USC Trojans football team and the temporary home of the Los Angeles Rams until their new stadium is complete.
