Though almost the whole plot of the movie is based on the story unfolding in one hotel room, but it was filmed in several locations. It was not possible to find at once a luxurious enough and at the same time interestingly frightening lobby, which would be in a large New York hotel gloomy and monumental from the outside. That's why we used several shooting points, and additionally we had to build sets imitating a hotel room, as they had to be burned and flooded and destroyed, so we didn't do it in a real room.
