Scene was shot The historic Beverly Hills City Hall was constructed in 1932 by architects William J. Gage and Harry G. Koerner in the Spanish Revival style. At the time of its construction the building was the largest and most expensive city hall constructed in any city of its size in the country.

The original land for the cemetery was 60-acres, but the southern half was sold to Paramount Pictures for the construction of Paramount Studios in 1920. Since 2002 the cemetery hosts regular film screenings projected onto the Cathedral Mausoleum during the summer.
