<p>Graham Linehan came up with the idea for the series after a bumbling computer wizard came to his house. The show was filmed in a studio with a live audience. Linehan said he decided to do it his own way, relying on his intuition, and hoped viewers would like it. The first season was recorded at Teddington Studios and the following seasons were recorded at Pinewood Studios. Some scenes were filmed on the streets of London and inserted into the studio recording.</p>

He realizes that the situation is critical and his reputation and career could be ruined if the investigation continues. Desperate and seeing no way out, Denholm makes the radical decision to commit suicide.

"Teddington Studios is known for its iconic British shows and films, including "Doctor Who," "Victoria" and others.
