<p>With a budget of HK$200 million to make the film, lead actors Jay Chow and Nicholas Tse were insured for a total of HK$150 million, and 20 bodyguards were hired to protect them. Producers obtained military equipment - including airplanes and tanks - from the Air Force to use in the movie&#39;s scenes. Filming took place around the world in Hong Kong, Xi&#39;an, the Middle East and Malaysia, with about 80% of the footage shot in Kuala Lumpur. Some scenes were filmed at the International Medical University, as well as at an abandoned construction site in the city. The traffic jam scene, for example, was filmed on Jalan Raja Chulan Street during public holidays, when the city was less congested.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
