Scene was shot Seal Rocks is a sleepy little isolated beach town about 300 km north of Sydney. Its famous largely for its beautiful lighthouse and the sense of isolation it enjoys. A small road separates the town from the main road Lakes Way and has kept development at bay. The 130 locals are very happy that the town has avoided excessive development. Seals is surrounded by national parks and pristine beaches located minutes from Myall Lakes and Smith Lakes. The town is 40km from the the Pacific Highway to the west, just after Bulahdelah, and 44km from Foster-Tuncurry to the north. You can rent Lil's house in Seal Rock.

It is famous for its many premier surfing beaches. Seal Rocks was named after the Australian fur seals that were often seen on the rocks near the Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse.
