Scene was shot In March 2019 film crews took over the Bell Cliff area of the town, along with the Shambles in Broad Street and part of Cobb Gate car park.
A fossil shop was stripped to create the 1840s set, the historic cannon has been removed from the area, and a fake stone wall has been constructed to block the view of the car park.

Scene was shot Charmouth beach is divided into two by the mouth of the River Char which is often dammed by the beach forming a lagoon suitable for boating or watching the many ducks and swans. To get to the beach simply find the centre of the village and follow Lower Sea Lane. There are ample car parks (no coaches) close to the beach but if they are full there is also a car park half way down Lower Sea Lane.
The beach was nominated by BBC Countryfile Magazine as one of the UKs five Best Beaches 2017.
