<p>Ivan has everything for a comfortable life: a prestigious job, a patient girlfriend, a mistress and ambitious plans for the future. However, his fate changes drastically after an accident, as a result of which he finds himself on the verge of death. The Imp offers Ivan a deal: in exchange for salvation from hell, he must kill a girl named Anya. Ivan, driven by selfishness, agrees, but after getting acquainted with Anya, he begins to doubt his choice. The movie was filmed in Moscow, in picturesque alleys between Pokrovka and Solyanka. Office scenes, where the main character works, were filmed in a modern glass building on White Square, not far from the metro station “Belorusskaya”. According to the director, the combination of ancient and modern architecture of Moscow allowed to create a special “poetics”, which plays an important role in this fantastic comedy. The director also noted that it was fundamental for him that the city became a full-fledged hero of the movie.</p>
