Shooting of the series "Peaceful Atom" has started
Shooting of the series "Peaceful Atom" started in Moscow! The idea and script belong to Pavel Gula, the winner of the ArtMasters creative championship. The set is a real laboratory of the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, where a detective spy thriller is being filmed. Pavel, who has a passion for nuclear power, decided to combine this with his love of movies. Rosatom scientists had invented a secret alloy for reactor safety, and a script about a nuclear race interested ArtMasters producers. "Pavel was only sixteen when he wrote the script with his father. We finalized it and invited a good production company," says producer Borislav Volodin. The team of the series wants to create a new hero - a scientist who integrates IT technologies into nuclear physics and invents a safe "perpetual motion machine". "He is trying to create something unique and safe," explains actor Leonid Bichevin. The movie "Peaceful Atom" is a mixture of science and spy adventures. Special services of different countries are hunting for the development, and the hero of Alexander Ilyin, an FSB officer, is trying to prevent sabotage. "The spy line is added to draw attention to an important topic," says Alexander Ilyin Jr. Filming takes place at Rosatom facilities and scientific institutes. The series is supported by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, and Pavel Gula is already thinking about a sequel. Filming of the first season will be completed in August.
