Scene was shot Eden Park is an urban park located in the Walnut Hills and Mt. Adams neighborhoods of Cincinnati, Ohio. The hilltop park occupies 186 acres (0.75 km2), and offers numerous overlooks of the Ohio River valley.
In june 2015 the restroom building of Eden Park was converted into a Christmas tree sales shop. A plastic Santa was placed in front of the building, surrounded by cut Christmas trees. More trees were stacked in a 1950s vintage pick-up truck nearby.
About a half-dozen vintage cars were parked in the loop driveway off Eden Park Drive to be used in the background. Four white tents were pitched between the twin lakes for the crew and equipment.

Founded in 1949 by Maurice (Maury) Bibent III, Maury's is the oldest steakhouse on the west side of Cincinnati and one of the oldest, continuosly operated restaurants in the city. Visiting Maury's is like stepping back in time. Low lights, deep reds and dark woods all evoke the feeling of a bygone era. Add a martini or manhattan and you may feel transported to the early 1950s!

April 2014 film crews transformed the street from present day Hamilton to 1950s Philadelphia, calling Kostas the Liberty Bell Diner. Because the scene takes place around Christmas, set decorators sprayed movie snow made from mashed potato flakes, and Christmas wreaths were placed on nearby light poles. Eight to 10 cars from the 1950s were parked across the street, complete with extras and drivers dressed in vintage hats and suits.
