The production of the movie, directed by Jeffrey Fine, took place mostly in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The picturesque urban landscape with green scenery and college campuses provided the perfect backdrop for the narrative. Filming took place at Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College.</p>
