  Scene where Edgin Darvis and his battle buddy Holga go to visit his daughter, Kira, who has been cared for the past few years by their former sidekick Forge. Edgin hasn't seen her in over two years. Upon arrival, however, they discover that Forge, who has become Lord of Neverwinter with the support of the sorceress Sophina, has turned Kira against her father. Forge deceives Kira, claiming that Edgin only cared about profit, not the resurrection of her mother. Forge, conspiring with Sophina, attempts to execute Edgin and Holga, but they manage to escape.

  Scene was shot in the Welsh Cathedral of Great Britain. It is a magnificent Gothic cathedral, its architecture, characterized by lancet arches and high ceilings, gives the impression of long corridors typical of castle interiors. The majestic appearance of the cathedral and its rich sculptural decoration give the place an atmosphere comparable to powerful castle buildings. In addition, the rich history of the cathedral, dating back to the 12th century, brings a sense of antiquity and mystery to the frame. The preservation of Welsh Cathedral, including the bishop's palace and a street of 15th and 16th century houses, further enhances its appeal to create an authentic castle-like backdrop, allowing the filmmakers to create a convincing fantasy world atmosphere.

  Scene where The Red Wizard Thea arrives at Sophina's house on a boat gliding through the dark waters. The boat passes under a stone bridge whose arches reflect darkly in the water, creating an oppressive atmosphere. A wizard dressed in traditional Tay robes stands at the bow of the boat, his face hidden by a hood, radiating power and mystery. When the boat docks, Sophina meets Tay on the shore. Their meeting takes place in an atmosphere of mutual respect and caution. They exchange brief greetings, through which one senses a common purpose and perhaps ulterior motives.

  Scene was shot at the Bridge of Lions, located in Alnwick. The bridge was chosen as the filming location due to its scenic beauty and unique architecture. This stone bridge with four arches was built in 1775 in the style of a castle. In the center of the bridge, on the east side, is a lead figure of Percy the lion, which gives it a special charm and creates a memorable visual image. The River Alne, flowing beneath the bridge, complements the scenery and creates an atmosphere perfect for a fantasy movie, adding a sense of fairytale and antiquity. The choice of the Lion Bridge allowed for a convincing and atmospheric scene of the Red Wizard's arrival, seamlessly integrated into the world.

• Mountain village

  Scene where Holga meets up with her former lover, the halfling Marlamin. The meeting takes place in a mountain village when the team needs a special artifact, the Unlocking Helmet, and Holga knows where to find it. She leads the others to an old cemetery near the village where warriors of her people are buried. To find out where the Helmet is, Simon uses a special amulet to resurrect the dead who can answer five questions.

  Scene was shot in The Hidden Village of Galboly, combining real footage with computer graphics. Galboly was probably chosen because of its picturesque mountain village look. Such a location was ideal for creating an authentic atmosphere of the halfling settlement, the homeland of Marlamin. The natural landscape, complemented by computer graphics, allowed to create a convincing and memorable meeting place for the heroes, organically integrated into the world of Dungeons & Dragons.
