The basis of the game is a post-apocalyptic and desert world, but which is located on the ruins of the United States. That's why the creators took everything literally and filmed Deserts and USA, the locations of the series are quite a lot, but all of them can be found in three geographical locations: Namibia (all desert scenes), New York City and surroundings (All city scenes) and Los Angeles (Selected iconic locations). Many scenes were filmed on location, but given the ENT of the series, many sets had to be built as well.

Scene was shot at the former Wendover Proving Grounds. This place was not only suitable visually, as the buildings were indeed from the 40s, but also historically. This is where the teams that dropped the nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki trained. The base was closed in 1969, but was later converted into a museum.

Scene was shot in Namibia, in the ghost town of Kolmanskop, located in Elizabeth Bay. It is a town built for diamond mining in the deposit of the same name, but in 1956 the diamonds ran out and the town was abandoned. It was chosen for its authentic and suitable for the series, the houses of the 50's abandoned and destroyed, as after the war.

Inside the supermarket, two guys are stationed with a robot that pulls organs out of people. Lucy is clearly not happy with this exchange, so she escapes, unleashes wild goo, kills everyone, and steals the cure. But Howard Cooper has already fallen unconscious and is starting to turn into a wild goole, gaining animal madness, so Lucy decides to save him no matter what and injects him with a dose of the drug.

Scene was shot in an abandoned ShopRite supermarket. After the store moved out, the area is empty and so it was perfect for filming. We had to greatly change the appearance of the store and the surrounding areas, as well as add some destroyed buildings to the background with the help of computer graphics. After these changes, the location became in keeping with the spirit of the series.

Scene was shot in the atrium of Building B of the Brooklyn Army Terminal. This is a complex of eight buildings, some of which have been modernized and used as commercial space, and some of which remain abandoned. It was in the abandoned building that the series was filmed, it was a perfect fit with its architecture and condition.

Scene was shot Fort Totten Park, a fortification on the shores of Long Island, in upstate New York. The structure is approximately 160 years old and is currently open to the public. It's completely empty inside, really looks a lot like Goole's tomb.

Scene was shot in the Namibian desert, near a German cargo ship that ran aground in 1909. Over time, it has deteriorated, been plundered and heavily sandbagged and has taken on a very cool and post-apocalyptic look, making it a great location for filming and a popular tourist attraction.
