Filming took place in Moscow, Karelia, Moscow Region, Taganrog, Vsevolozhsk and Vladimir. In Vladimir and Taganrog, airports were involved. And in Karelia they filmed an old Russian village. More than 60 trees were planted in a huge pavilion to film firefighting, and the actors were actually filmed in a real fire.
