Scene was shot The Eugenio Monti olympic track is a bobsleigh and skeleton track located in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. It is named after Eugenio Monti, who won six bobsleigh medals at the Winter Olympic Games Five of the venues used for the 1956 Olympic Winter Games appear in For Your Eyes Only. The other venues are the ski jump, Tofane, Apollonino Stadium and Stadio Olympica. One of the the stuntmen on the movie, Paolo Rigon, was killed during the first day of filming the scene at the track. In January 2008, after a last bobsleigh race tournament, the track was closed. In 2019 the President of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) told the press he wants to spend €38 million on renovating the bobsleigh track for the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
