Scene was shot Turtle Bay Resort opened in May 1972. Its original name was Del Webb's Kuilima Resort Hotel and Country Club. It was built by casino developer Del Webb to be the first casino on the island but it did not pass. In the Hawaiian language kui lima means joining hands. The resort is about a 50-minute drive from Honolulu.
