<p>The movie was filmed in Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and London. Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta was one of the locations for the filming. Also the team camped in several places in the American capital and captured on camera the Georgetown neighborhood, the Western National Gallery of Art, Jitney Wharf and several picturesque streets. The crew traveled to London to shoot Big Ben, Tower Bridge and the historic waterfront street of Shad Thames. </p>

Scene was shot at Ford's Theater near the tower of books dedicated to Abraham Lincoln. This theater is where the president was shot on April 14, 1865. The tower consists of 15,000 books and reaches a height of 10 meters. The exhibit symbolically says that the last word about this great personality will never be written.

Scene where Sadie and Cole approach the stairs. Cole proposes a contest: whoever gets to the top of the stairs last tells them what they're afraid of. Sadie agrees, which surprises Cole. They run up the stairs and Sadie wins.
Real
Scene was shot at a place called the Devil's Rejection Stairs in Washington, DC. The stairs got their name after the horror movie “The Exorcist” was filmed here, which is what Chris Evans' character says in the scene. The steps are located in a picturesque neighborhood in Georgetown. Many residents of the city use this staircase as a physical workout: they run and walk on it. Therefore, it is very symbolic that the characters in the scene have a competition on the steps.

Scene was shot outside a bar called Vault 1894 in London. The establishment is located under the Tower Bridge. This place used to be a coal storage, later it was converted into a garage for Bridge Masters cars. In 2007, a bar was opened here.
