Scene was shot on the playground in Queen Astrid Park, it was the Park that was founded in 1851 and was then called the “Public Garden” or “Botanical Garden”. After death of the Queen of Belgium in 1935, it was renamed in her honor, and in 1936 a bronze bust of Astrid was erected there. The gazebo from where Ken watches Ray has survived.
