Locations

  • Cyber village

    In movie

Scene where Nicholas gives a tour for the video of his farm, trying to invite new settlers to his village.

    Real

Scene was shot at the Sytnye Sady eco-farm located in the village of Kisva, Ryazan region.

  • Plutonium

    In movie

Scene where Nikolai and Robogozin were delivered by space mail to Plutonium instead of Earth.

    Real

Scene was shot in the village of Klyuchi in the Kamchatka region, Ust-Kamchatsky district. The creators of the series were very lucky, shortly before filming began, a volcano erupted nearby and the whole village was covered with ash, which added color and black snow to the ruined village picture.

  • The church in Cererska

    In movie

Scene where Nicholas tries to find a battery for the robot in Cereska and goes to the temple

    Real

Scene was shot in the village of Vyatskoye, Yaroslavl region. The village is notable for the fact that the old buildings have been preserved in a fairly decent condition, and the large church has recently been restored.

  • The deserts of Mars

    In movie

Scene where Nikolai and Robogozin cross the deserts of Mars to catch the last train leaving the planet

    Real

Scene was shot in the village of Barkhany in the Astrakhan region. In this place there are perishing settlements, where out of several dozen houses most of them are abandoned and already almost completely covered with sand, in colour reminiscent of Martian sand. It is difficult to build such a thing on purpose, but the creators of the series were lucky and found locations with a perfectly suitable exterior of a Russian village.
