On the way out, the family runs into traffic. Amanda gets out of the car to check out the situation. She discovers many Tesla cars with no drivers or passengers.

Scene was shot in the village of Katonah on Todd Road. The village is located near the town of Bedford, New York. The road where the scene was filmed is almost three kilometers long. The vegetation surrounding Todd Road is very similar to the roads of the Long Island coast. That's why this location was chosen by the production team.
Beach

Scene where The Sandford family all come to the beach. Amanda is glad that there are not too many people. Rose and Archie walk along the shore, and the heroine notices a huge ship on the horizon. The family continues to relax, basking in the sun, Amanda reads a book, Archie corresponds with a friend. Rose says in a worried voice that the ship is approaching the shore. Amanda and Clay look out to sea and are shocked to realize that an oil tanker is heading towards the beach without slowing down. They jump up from their seats and run away just in time - the ship is ramming the shoreline.

Scene was shot at Sunken Meadow State Park. The state park covers 1,287 acres and is located in the town of Smithtown, on the north shore of Long Island. The park's beach is washed by the waters of Long Island Sound. The nearly five miles of shoreline is great for beach vacations, and for filming this vacation.

Scene where The Sandford family arrives at a mansion near New York City. The daughter and son get out of the car and race to the pool. The parents decide to tour the house from the inside. In the dining room, they find a welcome basket with various goodies and a book that describes important points on how to operate the house. For example, the password to the wi-fi and instructions about not using alcohol from the bar cabinet.

Scene was shot on the grounds of The Open Corner, a modern farmhouse. It is located in the village of Old Westbury on the north shore of Long Island. The home was built in 2019 by The Up Studio, a design firm. It was designed to allow sunlight to come inside at all times of the day. The location manager contacted the studio that created the house, and throughout the shoot, The Up Studio helped negotiate with the homeowners. And the company also worked closely with the movie team to build a replica of the house in the studio's pavilions, because some scenes with the house had to be shot there.
