Scene was shot El Portal Theatre is a historic landmark in the San Fernando Valley. It was built in 1926 as a vaudeville house. After the earthquake of 1994 the El Portal was rebuilt. It was opened in January of 2000 by the Actors Alley Acting company in partnership with the building owners Bernard and Judy Kaufman and Gary and Shari Goodgame. The once 1400-seat movie palace now houses three theatres.

The famous Billingsley’s closed in 2004, but the building is still there and so are the red leather booths and low bar inside. The movies pretends the characters are at Tail o’ the Clock.
