The main character of the movie is a real estate agent named Paul, who has been putting his life on hold for a long time, saving up money. However, after learning that his days are running out, he decides to spend his savings, helping poor families by distributing potatoes. “I was born in the village of Prechistoe, Yaroslavl region, in a large family. We lived poorly, often lacked money, and there were times when we didn't even have money for food. One day a sack of potatoes was thrown under our door. It was old, with patches, and we never knew who brought it. But thanks to this gift, my mother was able to feed us. My mom said it was a miracle... Since then, I have believed in miracles,” Martha shares her memories. “I dedicate this movie to the man who left that sack of potatoes at our door many years ago.” The filming of the movie took place in Pereslavl-Zalessky and was financed by the director Marta Kotova herself. Most of the crew members, including professional actors, worked for free. The head of the Pereslavl district Dmitry Zyablitsky noted that their town was ideally suited for shooting this simple and sincere movie about love and happiness.
