The final shots were filmed on Novodevichy Proezd. Filming began on May 6, 2011, and from October 9 to 25 was held in Samara. The first scenes were filmed on “Borodinskaya”, where because of the concrete dust crew worked in respirators. On the unfinished railroad tracks created a makeshift pool for scenes of flooding, heating the water for the comfort of actors, but in many scenes had to work in cold water, using wetsuits.
