Mission Impossible is a film that has always covered a wide geography of shooting. The new part is no exception and it was filmed in the Arabian Desert, Abu Dhabi Airport, the streets of Venice, near the most famous sights of Rome, on the picturesque railway lines of Norway and the lakes of England.

Scene was shot The scene was filmed on one of the most beautiful railroads in the world, namely the Rauma railroad line in northwest Norway.
An entire train set with cars was built for the scene, as there was no train on location to crash.
The blown up bridge does not exist in reality and was added by computer graphics. But the creators clearly took inspiration from the existing 1921 Killing Bridge, which is located on this railroad.
