Russian sci-fi film by Andrei Malyukov about time travel. The film was shot in the Pskov region, where three key locations were involved: the village of Orekhovichi, Lake Zhukovskoye (near the village of Znamenka) and the village of Rodovoye. It was here that it was possible to recreate the atmosphere of the Great Patriotic War, making immersion in history as realistic as possible. Most of the material - about 80% - was filmed in these places. The filmmakers paid special attention to historical accuracy: the battle scenes were staged using authentic Soviet photographs, and the actors and extras repeated the poses captured in archival photos. The working title of the movie was “Pathfinders”, but the final version - “We are from the future” - better reflected its essence and idea.
