<p>The popular student movie was filmed in several Oregon cities, Eugene, College Grove, and Dexter. The campus used for Faber College was the actual campus of the University of Oregon. Several campus buildings were used, including classrooms and dormitories, as well as the university stadium. To use the University of Oregon as a filming location, the production paid $20,000. Other scenes were filmed in California at Universal Studios.</p>

    Scene where The Deltas decide to disrupt the homecoming parade after being expelled by the dean for low grades. The boys decide to march in the parade after Bluto gives an inspirational speech. They are solidly prepared for their debauchery.

    Scene was shot in Cottage Grove, Oregon. The parade was filmed on the main street of the town. This street is adorned with classic facades reminiscent of the golden era of American small towns and is ideal for filming.

    Scene where Pinto and Flounder, two friends and roommates, are rushing from their dormitory to a college fraternity. The boys are walking through the college grounds and the many campus buildings can be seen in the background. One of the friends admonishes his friend, “Don't be a jerk, okay?”.     Scene was shot on the campus of the University of Oregon. Pinto and Flounder exit Carson Hall and pass Johnson Hall, the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, the Administration Building, and Knight Library. Many of these buildings often appear in the background as the movie progresses, and some are later used as shots of student pranks and fraternity fun. The University of Oregon campus buildings used in the movie were built in the early and mid-1900s.
