Where was Nichego lichnogo filmed

Nichego lichnogo

Year: 2007

Genre: Drama

Country: Russia

The movie was filmed in the city of Bryansk. The director Larisa Sadilova specially chose her native city to avoid metropolitan stamps and to convey the special atmosphere of the province. In the movie you can see places familiar to Bryansk residents, such as the courtyard of the house on Komsomolskaya Street in Bezhitsa, Kuibyshev Street and picturesque Embankment. Thanks to the work of the cameraman, Bryansk appears in the picture very beautiful, especially in the night scenes. The staircase on Naberezhnaya was temporarily turned into a cozy street cafe reminiscent of a Parisian one.

Locations

  • Irina's house

    In movie

Scene where Irina returned home. A few steps behind her, trying not to attract attention, walked Zimin. They were strangers. Irina entered the entrance of her house and went up to her apartment. Immediately outside the front door, she began her housework. First she put the laundry on. Then Irina walked to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Zimin, in his apartment, turned on the monitor, watching her life, as if he had settled in the neighborhood with her.

    Real

Scene was shot in Bryansk on Kuibyshev Street, 2. The house is a typical Soviet residential building. Most likely, it is a panel building, possibly four-storied. The yard of the house is usual for that time: with a playground, benches at the entrances and trees planted by the residents. Around the house there is the same residential development, creating the feeling of a bedroom community. The choice of this location emphasizes the ordinariness of Irina's life.

  • Restaurant

    In movie

Scene where Zimin, decides to violate professional ethics and interferes in Irina's life, inviting her to a meeting. He has been watching her life through hidden cameras for a long time and has become sympathetic to her. Zimin chooses a small, cozy cafe as the place for this date. Perhaps it is a place with dimmed lights and quiet music to create a romantic atmosphere. At the table, waiting for Irina, Zimin experiences an excitement uncommon to him as a private detective. When Irina appears, he tries to be charming and attentive, asking questions about her life and work.

    Real

Scene was shot in a cafe on Gagarina Boulevard, 2 in Bryansk. Gagarina Boulevard is a pedestrian street in the historical center of the city, known for its long and wide staircase leading down. The cafe has tables outside. Zimin and Irina sit at one of the tables outside and place an order. It's an ordinary restaurant, like many in any city, but with a Bryansk flavor.

  • The pharmacy where Irina works

    In movie

Scene where Irina works in a pharmacy. She holds a prescription in her hands, bends over it, concentrating on the doctor's handwriting. Then she goes to the shelves, confidently finding the right drugs. She returns to the cash register, punches in the purchase, calls out the amount. The next visitor coughs, and Irina patiently explains the difference between several cough syrups, pointing out the active ingredients. She takes a box of new medicines and carefully arranges them on the shelves, checking expiration dates. She records the arrival of a new batch in a thick logbook.

    Real

Scene was shot in a real pharmacy located at 101 Kalinina Street. The choice of this particular pharmacy, with its regular opening hours and typical interior, was determined by the desire to create the most realistic atmosphere possible. Its location provided convenience for the film crew, and the interior with display cases, shelves filled with medicines, and cash register, conveyed the spirit of a real pharmacy. The typical look of the pharmacy, recognizable to everyone, added believability and helped the audience to delve deeper into the story of Irina working in this place.
