Scene was shot at Shepperton Studios in England. The entire market street of London was built in the studio. To create such a large-scale location, the team needed 110 tons of scaffolding, 350 tons of gravel for the road and 10,000 slabs of cobblestone. All this allowed them to create authentic streets of 19th century London.

Scene where Mr. Bumble leads Oliver down the street and loudly announces that the boy is for sale. It is snowing heavily and people are hiding under the roofs of houses. There are not many buyers. From behind a shop window with a sign reading “undertaker”, a man looks at the heroes. He leaves the premises and beckons them over.

Scene was shot on a set at Shepperton Studios in England. The scene was filmed in July, so all the snow was artificial. The crew used polystyrene, Styrofoam and even mashed potatoes to create the snowfall.
