Genre: Drama, Historical
Country: Russia

The filming style of the series is a visualization of Tanya's personal diary, as if her thoughts spilled over the screen. The camera invisibly accompanies the heroine without interfering, allowing the viewer to dissolve into her world. That is why the locations are chosen to be not just a background, but an emotional continuation of her inner state. Herzen University. Herzen University is a symbol of youth, the movement of thought, the first hopes. The House of the Deaf is a metaphor for isolation, silence, in which the most desperate thoughts are born. And the Fontanka embankment, with its cold air and faded lights, seems to whisper about the lost and unfortunate. All of this is St. Petersburg through Tanya's eyes, both real and almost dreamlike.

Real
Scene was shot ...in the historic building of the St. Petersburg House of the Deaf, an architectural monument with authentic interiors of the pre-war period. The space is ideal for scenes conveying the atmosphere of the Siege of Leningrad.
