Where was Ostrov filmed

Ostrov

Year: 2016

Genre: Comedy

Country: Dominican Republic, Russia, Seychelles, Thailand

The plot of the series revolves around a group of participants who arrived on a desert island to participate in a new reality show. According to the scenario of the project, they must survive in the wilderness, perform tasks, earn points and accumulate the total prize fund, competing for the attention of viewers. However, soon everything gets out of control: the yacht with the crew explodes, and the participants, not realizing the scale of the disaster, take it as the start of the show. They continue to perform tasks, not knowing that in fact no one is not filming them and there is nowhere to wait for help - there is no connection with the outside world, and the show itself has long ceased to exist. According to actor Eugene Kulik, who played one of the key roles, filming took place in four locations - in Moscow, Thailand, the Dominican Republic and the Seychelles. The main part of the series was filmed in the Seychelles, where the cast spent about four months without being able to leave the island. According to Kulik, the conditions were much harsher than one can imagine - filming was a real test both physically and psychologically.
