The path was a route for sedan chairs heading to and from the town centre and following the path will take you almost into Victoria Park behind The Circus and The Royal Crescent, with fine views of the backs of houses and their gardens on Gay Street.

Scene was shot Lyme Regis' harbour wall is called the Cobb and was built as a breakwater to protect ships and the town.
Filming took place in juni 2021 along the famous harbour wall.
The area adjacent to the Marine Aquarium on the Cobb was closed off to the public as filming continued throughout the day. The production company also took over car parks at Holmbush and Sidmouth Road.
Horse drawn carriages were brought onto the grade one-listed Cobb, which was made famous by the film the French Lieutenant’s Woman.
