    Real

Scene was shot in a church specially erected for the film in Palos Verdes, a coastal neighborhood in south Los Angeles. This is where the original “Port Royal” set was built and where the creepy “bone cage” scenes were filmed. Palos Verdes, specifically its Rancho Palos Verdes neighborhood, is known for its scenic hiking trails, beautiful views from the cliffs of the peninsula, and upscale residential neighborhoods. This location, with its unique nature and atmosphere, was perfect for filming the opening scenes of the movie.

Scene where Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew turn to the voodoo priestess, Tia Dalma. She tells them the terrible secret that a dead man's chest contains the carved heart of Davy Jones, and that Jones himself has the key to it. To protect Jack from Jones, who is cursed to touch the earth only once every ten years, Tia gives him a jar of earth.

    Real

Scene was shot on the Indian River in Portsmouth. In the movie, it was referred to as the Pantano River. This scenic spot has deep historical roots, as it was once used by the Kalinago, Caribbean Indians, as a trade route. The river is part of a larger ecosystem that attracts tourists for recreational activities such as boating, kayaking, and wildlife watching. A variety of exotic birds, animals and flora can be seen along the shore. This place has a special charm that takes you back to a past world where people and nature existed in unity.

  • Sea

    In movie

    Real

Scene was shot Black Point Beach on the eastern side of St. Vincent. The beach is famous for its unique black volcanic sand, clear azure waters and many seafood restaurants and cafes right off the coast. An interesting feature of the beach is the Black Point Tunnel, dug by slaves in 1815 to transport produce from the northern plantations to the capital Kingstown. It is also worth visiting the Botanical Park in the city, which pleases tourists with its unique flora.
