Premonition
Year: 2007
Genre: Drama, Fantasy, Mystery, Thriller
Country: USA

The 2007 film was primarily shot in the picturesque landscapes of Minden and Shreveport, Louisiana. At the time of filming, Louisiana was recovering from the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. Filming began on February 6, 2006 and lasted 45 days. Some scenes, such as the emergency room, were filmed in an abandoned ICU on the second floor, which added a special atmosphere to the movie. Also, some of the interior scenes were filmed in the newly built sound stages at the Louisiana Institute of Film Technology, known as Film Factory. Most of the exterior scenes were filmed in Shreveport, a bustling city in the northwestern part of the state, as well as in the Highland and South Highlands neighborhoods. The fictional east-west U.S. Highway 57 shown in the film is actually Louisiana Highway 2, and a key car crash scene involving Jim was filmed at the intersection of Louisiana Highway 2 and Webb Country Road in Claiborne Parish.
