Most of the scenes were filmed in the cities of Atlanta and Marietta, and filming also took place in New England. Given that the events of the film take place in Scarborough, Maine, it was only possible to shoot city scenes and nature scenes in the northeastern United States. Unfortunately, the exact filming locations in New England remain undisclosed. However, the crew likely visited Scarborough, Maine itself to add authenticity to the film's depiction of the town.
