Where was River's Edge filmed

River's Edge

Year: 1986

Genre: Crime, Drama

Country: USA

The crime drama was filmed in the Los Angeles area, Tujunga and Sacramento. The film's director, Tim Hunter, settled on several locations in Sacramento because of the abundance of natural locations that would help bring the scenes of the picture to life. Flooding forced the production team to stop filming on American River. Hunter then settled in the foothills above Burbank, in the Sunland-Tujunga community, for the rest of the “On the Riverbank” scenes.
