Shooting of the feature film about the start of the most influential comedy show in the world Saturday Night Live took place in Atlanta and Fayetteville, Georgia. These locations were chosen because they perfectly fit the idea of the authors: to recreate the atmosphere of the 1970s. The crew needed landscapes that would take viewers right back to that decade.
In two days, the creators managed to shoot scenes near Rockefeller Plaza in New York. This is the real headquarters of NBC Universal, the place where the show was born. Shooting on a real location allowed the creators to convey the true energy of the channel and the program. In addition to Rockefeller Plaza, the crew worked in other parts of New York City to capture the iconic look of the 1970s as well as Georgia.

Scene was shot near the Rockefeller Plaza skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan at the entrance to the NBC Universal headquarters. Shooting in New York is very expensive for movie companies, but it was extremely important for the creators to show not only what is happening inside the studio, but also outside it, literally at the entrance to this studio. To shoot this scene, the director and his team spent only two days.
