<p>The movie was filmed in Murmansk, where location shooting took place, and in St. Petersburg, where scenes were filmed in pavilions, for example, the storm scene was planned to be filmed in coproduction with Luxembourg in Belgium (there is a special pool for filming on water). But because of the pandemic, the coproduction didn't work out, and everything was filmed in St. Petersburg. </p>

Scene was shot in a pavilion in St. Petersburg. Part of the ship with cabins and captain's bridge were built in a special tent. The ship stood on a special device that lifted and rocked the built structure. Several water slides were also built, which ensured that huge amounts of water were dumped onto the deck of the "ship".
