“Sun to Taste” is a co-production between Russia and Uzbekistan. The film was produced by the Russian film company Sputnik Vostok Production at the request of the Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency. Therefore, the main shooting took place in Bukhara, Samarkand, Tashkent and Tashkent region. And post-production was done in Moscow. Due to the fact that the shooting took place on real locations without sets, the film was even shortlisted for the International Makers Shakers Awards2021 in the category “Outstanding Creative Use of Location”
