The filming process of the movie project unfolded in several locations, creating a unique combination of marine and studio shots. The main part of the movie came to life on board the motor ship Fryazino, sailing from Odessa to Batumi. This route not only provided spectacular scenery for the movie, but also added dynamism to the story, allowing the audience to feel part of the maritime adventure. Beach scenes were filmed in Odessa. At the same time, on the dock in Leningrad, the dry cargo ship "Sailor Zheleznyak" turned into a platform for preliminary rehearsals. This allowed the crew to hone complex scenes in a controlled environment before heading out to sea. Pavilion scenes requiring special attention to detail and scenery were brought to life on the premises of the Lenfilm film studio.
