Scene was shot The Ambassador Hotel was a famous hotel in Los Angeles. It opened on January 1, 1921 and later became a popular destination for stars like Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Nat King Cole, Barbra Streisand and John Wayne, to mention just a few. The hotel was the site of the assassination of United States Senator Robert F. Kennedy on June 5, 1968. The hotel was closed in 1989 and finally demolished in 2005. The property was purchased so new schools could be build.
What’s left of the historic hotel is a part of the entrance gate of the hotel.
