Where was The Queen's Gambit filmed
The Queen's Gambit
Year: 2020
Genre: Drama

The plot of the series takes us to Lexington, Kentucky, then across America and on to Paris and Moscow. But in reality, filming was done in Berlin, with some additional scenes shot in Ontario, Canada. It's amazing how the production team created all these landscapes of American cities from Berlin locations during the 60s. The Canadian city of Cambridge also excelled as some of the project's American locations. Some scenes the series team shot in Toronto. The movie magic is beautifully displayed in a scene where Beth and her foster mom arrive at a clothing store to transform the girl. The exterior of the store was done by Winners department store in Toronto. The interior was filmed in the Humana second hand store in Berlin.
