The creators tried to convey the beauty of the Arctic landscapes of this harsh region, choosing unique natural locations. The picture is based on the story “Kamenny Cape” by Nikolai Luginov, and its screenwriter and director Lyubov Borisova noted that the work on the project allowed to reveal to the audience the amazing atmosphere of the northern coast. The movie was presented at film festivals in Canada, Germany and Australia. According to the general producer Dmitry Shadrin, this is one of the first Yakut films to be released in wide international distribution. Previously, films from Yakutia were shown only to a limited audience. The film was originally shot in Yakut language, but a full Russian-language version was prepared for distribution.</p>

It is a land of endless tundras, low-altitude ridges and icy rivers flowing into the Laptev Sea. This remote area is home to Evenks who lead a traditional way of life - reindeer herding, fishing and hunting.
