Stanislav Svetlov, a native of Rybinsk, shot his graduation film “Tiger Among the Birches” in his hometown. This place plays a special significance for the author. The director often presents Rybinsk as a potential location for his new stories. The beautiful short film “Tiger Among the Birches” tells about an unexpected love that breaks the usual way of life of a provincial tailor. Faced with a new feeling, the protagonist seeks to change his fate. The film won the VGIK International Student Film Festival.

Long rows of residential buildings, identical in style, are lined up along a wide street surrounded by green areas. The yards are drowned in trees, among which tall birches and linden trees stand out. Here you can see children's playgrounds with swings and sandboxes, old benches and parked cars along the sidewalks.
