The filming of the movie combines traveling through several countries. The port town in Mexico was embodied on the screen by Spanish Cartagena, and the chase of Eddie and Venom through the endless wilderness from the pursuers was filmed in the Tabernas desert north of the city of Almeria in the same Spain. The film is filled with action scenes, one of them, namely the scene on the river and underwater, was filmed in a studio tank in London. And shots with incredible stunts were filmed in Los Angeles.
