The movie Wonka was filmed entirely in the UK, although this fictional city resembles a mixture of Paris, Prague and London. Many scenes were filmed in the studio, where a large number of locations, such as the city center and Wonka's store, were specially erected.

In the first song, he tells us about his dream of becoming a famous and wealthy chocolatier who has decided to try his luck in this place, but he has very little savings that are melting before his eyes.

Scene was shot this small causeway is part of a marina in the small town of Lyme Regis in the south of the UK, it has a very interesting shape, so it was chosen for the shot of Wonka's walk to emphasize the fabulousness of the town where he would live.
