Scene was shot Palau Nacional was constructed for the 1929 International Exhibition and currently houses Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, the National Art Museum of Catalonia. The building was designed by architects Eugenio Cendoya and Enric Catà in a Spanish Renaissance style. An extensive renovation and expansion of the building occurred between 1990 and 2004 adding an additional 15,300 square meters to the building to house the museum's extensive collection.

Scene was shot The Barclay Hotel is a 14-story luxury hotel constructed in 1926 for the Vanderbilt family by the New York Central Railroad on land recently freed up when the Grand Central Terminal tracks where moved underground. In 1978 the hotel was sold to Loews Hotels after the bankruptcy of its previous owners and underwent a massive renovation. The ground floor of the hotel hosts the flagship story of the perfumer Caswell-Massey which has occupied that space since the hotel opened.

Scene was shot Thomas Paine Park and the adjacent Foley Square sit in the middle of Manhattan's Civic Center across from the Supreme Court and several other courthouses and federal buildings. The park was named for the founding father Thomas Paine while the square was named for a local civic leader and saloon owner "Big Tom" Foley. The space has been a common area since the Collect Pond which formerly stood at this location was filled up in 1811, and the park and square were officially joined in 2005.

Unisphere (Flushing Meadows Corona Park)

Scene was shot Constructed for the 1964 New York World's Fair, the Unisphere is a 120 foot stainless steel globe, the world's largest, designed by the landscape architect Gilmore D. Clarke to fit into his larger plan for the park. The globe is circled by three orbital rings representing the orbits of Yuri Gagarin, John Glenn, & the Telstar satellite. This globe replaced the older Perisphere which was constructed in the same location for the 1939 World's Fair but scrapped at the end of the event.

Scene was shot The southern shore of Manhattan has been known as The Battery as far back as the 17th century when it housed the guns that protected Manhattan from attacks by sea. The remaining west battery, known as Castle Clinton and built just before the Ware of 1812, was originally constructed on a small island off the shore and eventually the land expanded and encircled the fort in 1855. The modern park now occupies 25-acres and features a small far, restaurant, carousel, and WWII memorial.

Scene was shot With over 3 million burials, Calvary Cemetery is the largest graveyard in the United States. The cemetery was created by the Old St. Patrick's Cathedral in 1847 when their original cemetery on Mulberry Street filled up. By 1867 the original section of the cemetery to the west was completely full and eventually three new sections were added.
