Scene was shot City Park, a 1,300-acre (5.3 km2) public park in New Orleans. City Park is approximately 50% larger than Central Park in New York. City Park holds the world's largest collection of mature live oak trees, some older than 600 years in age. The park was founded in 1854. The park was originally a location used for dueling. There was enormous damage inflicted upon the park due to Hurricane Katrina in 2005. About 75,000 local and national volunteers assisted in repair projects. The park has recovered since Katrina. Facilities have reopened and many new attractions have been added.

In the movie, the bride-to-be takes her inner circle to a local bridal boutique to try on gowns, an age-old ritual documented from Bridesmaids to Bride Wars. The scene in the All My Life movie was shot in a bona fide bridal boutique in New Orleans. "We took [director] Marc Meyers to three or four bridal boutiques. It was a running joke: 'Three guys walk into a bridal shop,'" says production designer Chris Spellman. "We settled on one that was in Uptown New Orleans. It's a working bridal boutique, and we went in and rearranged things. We had to redress and reorganize parts of it, and then we shot the scene in an existing place."

Botanical Garden - Pavilion of the Two Sisters

Scene was shot The New Orleans Botanical Garden is located in City Park in New Orleans. It was originally called The Rose Garden when it opened in 1936. It was part of a massive restructuring and development project in New Orleans in the 1930’s. The construction was overseen by three innovators: Architect Richard Koch, Landscape Architect William Wierdorn, and Sculptor Enrique Alférez. Hurricane Katrina in 2005 caused nearly total destruction of the garden's collections. Fortunately a donation from the Azby Fund, allowed the Garden to keep its staff employed and renovate its buildings and gardens. Today the garden is made up of several different miniature gardens. Each garden room, or section of the garden, showcases unique species of flora, and pathways and structures. At the western edge of the section lies the Pavilion of the Two Sisters, a recent building designed in the fashion of a European greenhouse and constructed to protect oranges, honors the Wordsworth sisters. This space is used as a multipurpose facility for everything from educational seminars to wedding receptions.
