The main places of action take place in one residential building, which in the series is called "Arconia", in reality it is played by the building of the hotel "Belnord". It was built in 1930 as an expensive cinema, and in 1969 it was bought by a church association and has been renovated. Now it is open for visitors again. This stylish venue also served as the fictional Russian theater of Tarkovsky in the Keanu Reeves film John Wick 3.
