Scene was shot Quinta de Mirabel is a cigarral on the outskirts of Toledo constructed originally in the 1500s for the Archbishop of Toledo, Gaspar de Quiroga y Vela. It remained vacant for a few decades until it was passed to the second Marquis of Malpica whose family would hold it until 1862 when it was again passed to the house of Bailén who hold it to this day. The complex features several different wings built at various points over the centuries as well as a beautiful garden overlooking the city.
