“The second part of the story about the Turtles saving New York from the villains was filmed in the United States and Brazil. The main shooting took place in New York City, where real city streets and landmarks were used. Such landmarks as Grand Central Station, Madison Square Garden, American Museum of Natural History, Times Square, Liberty Island appear in the frame. Other memorable locations include Vazac's Horseshoe Bar and Jane's Carousel in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Scenes involving the search for the portal fragments were filmed in Brazil. Foz do Iguaçu was ideal for this purpose, providing unique natural scenery and adding to the exoticism of the movie.
The choice of these locations allowed us to create a more realistic and dynamic movie that matches the spirit of the original Ninja Turtles story.”

Scene where the ninja turtles get the keys to the city for helping to fight organized crime. The Turtles finally receive recognition: after they save the city from Krang and his henchmen, Rebecca Vincent, on behalf of the NYPD Organized Crime Unit, presents the Turtles with the keys to the city. Vincent honors the Turtles by giving a speech to the rest of the department and invites them to reveal themselves to the citizens of the city so they know who saved them.

    Real

Scene was shot next to the Statue of Liberty. The Statue of Liberty is a monumental sculpture located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. It was a gift from France to the United States in honor of the centennial of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The statue is a symbol of freedom and democracy. It is not surprising that the authors of the movie chose this symbolic place for the scene with the presentation of the keys of the city to the turtles. The Statue of Liberty represents the idea of freedom and recognition, which fits perfectly with the theme of recognizing the turtles as heroes and saviors of the city.

Scene where April arrives at Fenwick's party and informs him that she and the turtles need a favor. Vernon Fenwick and the turtles make an agreement: he gets the laurels for defeating Shredder, and the turtles stay in the shadows and can use Fenwick's position in case they need help catching criminals. In this scene, April has Fenwick leave the party because the turtles need a favor: they need access to information, and Vernon has to help them get it.

    Real

Scene was shot at the Jane's Carousel Pavilion in New York City. This is a historic carousel located in Brooklyn Bridge Park in the DUMBO neighborhood. It was built in 1922 for an amusement park in Youngstown, Ohio. After the park closed in 1984, the carousel was purchased by Jane and David Valentas, who gave it a thorough restoration, and in 2011 the carousel was installed in a modern glass pavilion designed by architect Jean Nouvel, overlooking the East River, Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. The carousel is a modern landmark and an example of classic American wood carving with 48 horses and two chariots. A modern glass pavilion allows the carousel to be used year round. The combination of history and modernity makes the carousel a unique and attractive destination for visitors. Its location against the backdrop of Manhattan and the bridges adds to the visual beauty of the scene. The location fits perfectly into the atmosphere of the movie and provides a picturesque backdrop for the development of the plot.

Madison Square Garden is famous for being the home court for the New York Knicks (NBA) and New York Rangers (NHL) teams. Not only sporting events are held here, but also concerts of world stars. The authors of the film chose its basketball game scenes because of its recognizability and symbolism. This place is ideal for demonstrating the urban life and sports culture of New York.
